The Pocket NC (V2-10) 101 Course Workbook is intended to go along with the Pocket NC online course. The workbook follows the chapters of the online course and contains more than 140 questions for students to test their knowledge of machining on the Pocket NC. The workbooks come with the required 2 pieces of stock delrin and a wax cube to make the parts that go along with the course. Each pack of workbooks comes with a separate answer key.

Customers will need the following products to complete the course:

  • ER40 Fixture with 1 inch collet (not included with machine)

  • 2 pieces of B-table stock delrin (not included with machine does come with workbook if order stock)

  • Vise (included with machine)

  • Extended tool holder with 1/8" ER11 collet (included with machine)

  • Datron single flute end mill, 0068630E (included with machine)

  • Wax cube (included with machine)

  • The workbook has been updated February 2022 to go along with the Online Course update for Kinetic Control.

Learn the basics of using the Pocket NC V2-10 at courses.pocketnc.com.* From moving the machine's axes to programming your first part in Fusion 360** this course will walk through the steps to make a basic part on the Pocket NC mill. This course is ideal for the customer new to CAM and CNC machining.

The course has been updated in February 2022 to include the new Kinetic Control software. Students will cut 3 parts total if they work from start to finish.

Customers will need the following products to complete the course, the first 2 are not included standard with the machine:

  • ER40 Fixture with 1 inch collet (not included with machine)

  • 2 pieces of B-table stock delrin (not included with machine)

  • Vise

  • Extended tool holder with 1/8" ER11 collet

*This course is geared towards educators and students at the most basic CAM and CNC leve. You can use this online course for self-directed learning as an industry or personal customer as well. We also have free learning resources available here.
