Pocket NC

Powerful machining capabilities in a pint-sized package

The world’s first 5-axis CNC mill designed for desktop use

There’s nothing like the right tool for the job. And sometimes, that means we have to create it ourselves.

That’s how Penta Machine Company originally got our start — being the first to harness the advantages of 5-axis CNC machining in an affordable, highly-accurate desktop-sized design, the Pocket NC.

Today’s Pocket NC lineup is more powerful and user-friendly than ever before.

Penta manufactures these cutting-edge 5-axis desktop CNC milling machines for industrial, educational, and personal use.

Machine OVERVIEWs

The Pocket NC makes it easy to start 5-axis machining right from your desktop in the office, classroom, lab, or home.

Pocket NC V2-10

  • More versatile machine with a wider array of tooling and applications

  • Well suited to teaching 5-axis or general prototyping work

  • Easily portable for recruitment or demonstrations

Pocket NC V2-50CHB or CHK

  • Ideal for niche applications where small tooling is going to be run often or predominately harder metals are cut (SS 303 or harder)

  • 50,000rpm spindle allows for increased material removal rates and excellent surface finishes

Machine COMPARISON

Our V2 lineup comes in three options ideal for different machining applications — each with an Intuitive user interface, high-precision tool probe, and redesigned trunion.

Many of the specifications on the V2-10 and V2-50 CHB/CHK are the same — including backlash, deflection, repeatability, resolution, and max speed of each axis, the same work envelope, and they run off the same power.

The difference is in the spindle assembly, with the V2-10 running a 1-10,000 RPM spindle speed, and the V2-50 offering both CHK and CHB 1-50,000 RPM options.
